style=\"text-align: left;\">The text that is visible when you do this will also ask for extra material if:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>You have a directional fabric (patterned) \u2013\u00a0 we will need one or more extra \u2018pattern repeats\u2019 depending on the model.<\/li>\n<li>You wish to have a pillowstop \u2013 extra material is needed for this.<\/li>\n<li>You wish to supply a different colour material for contrast piping (on piped models only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">So, what do all these things mean?<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">What is a pattern repeat?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When material is printed, it is printed with a pattern repeat along the length of the roll.\u00a0 The vertical pattern repeat relates to the distance between where the pattern starts, ends and appears again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If your chosen material has a pattern repeat of 4 cm, for example, and we ask for 1 extra pattern repeat, we would need an extra 4 cm to be able to join the patterns correctly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Similarly, if your pattern repeat is 68 cm and 1 extra pattern repeat is needed, we would need an extra 68 cm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On a bed, we may need up to 5 pattern repeats and therefore, a fabric with a large pattern repeat can work out to be an expensive and wasteful choice.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">What is a \u2018directional pattern\u2019?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A directional pattern has a clear top and a bottom to it.\u00a0 A good example of this is a tree pattern \u2013 you would normally always want for the tree to be upright on your headboard.\u00a0 If we were to use the fabric on its side to avoid joins\/seams then your trees would be sideways \u2013 hardly ideal!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A good example of a non directional pattern may be a dot or spot that has no clear top or bottom and so the fabric could easily be run sideways to avoid joins.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Extra care should be taken when considering stripes.\u00a0 A striped pattern could be run directionally OR from side to side and you\u2019ll be asked to confirm which way you intend stripe to run.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We will contact you when we receive your material at our workshop to confirm your pattern direction for fabrics which could be run both ways to ask your preference.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">My headboard will be wider than my material \u2013 how will that work?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We will carefully pattern match the fabric to make it wide enough, using a full width in the centre of the headboard.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Can I have a patterned fabric but run it on it\u2019s side?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">You can decide which way you want your pattern to run.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Some patterns do not have a definitive top or bottom to them, so, the choice is yours alone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We do not recommend using a pattern that has a very definite top and bottom in the wrong orientation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_tab et_pb_tab_2 clearfix\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_tab_content\">\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Where\/how should I send my material to you?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Before you send us your material, please help us by putting your order on.\u00a0 This is important because it generates a unique six digit code for your order which we use as an identifier.\u00a0 We ask that this number accompanies your material to our workshop either on the material itself (post it note or sticky label) or on the outside of your package.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It helps us enormously if you can also:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Attach your name.<\/li>\n<li>Attach your order reference number, which you will receive via email after placing your order.<\/li>\n<li>Indicate the correct side of the fabric.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">And finally, the address you need to send your fabric to is;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Headboard Workshop Ltd,<\/p>\n<p>Units 10-11 St David\u2019s left;\">Yes, we will.\u00a0 We will also return any usable left over material to you with your headboard delivery if there is any.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Can my fabric supplier send my material to you directly on my behalf?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Yes.\u00a0 This is fine and happens all the time.\u00a0 Please ask them to label the material package with your surname and order number as above.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">What do I need to tell you about my material?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you wish to chat with us about the suitability of your material or have any queries about the quantity needed, we may ask you the following in order to help you:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>The size and model of headboard that you are considering<\/li>\n<li>The pattern name and colourway of the material<\/li>\n<li>The material composition (for fire retardancy purposes)<\/li>\n<li>The material width<\/li>\n<li>The vertical pattern repeat (of patterned)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Better still, if you can provide us with a website link to
