When we set out to make a film celebrating the incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail our workshop team brings to every order, we knew the bed at the heart of it needed to be rather special too. So, we chose a fabric worthy of the occasion.

The Kerrera Bed itself is a masterclass in precision, care and expertise – all the things that our upholsterers care about!

“The fabric we chose needed enough presence to hold its own on camera, without shouting louder than the people we were there to celebrate,” says Sheryl, stylist for The Headboard Workshop.

“I was drawn to blues and greens because they’re colours our customers come back to time and again. They’re incredibly easy to live with, and Home Park in Emerald has that lovely mix of colour and pattern that makes a statement without completely taking over a room.

“What I really love about it, though, is that it’s a bit of a chameleon. I can imagine this bed looking completely at home in a grand country house, but equally fabulous in a three-bedroom semi. You don’t need to design an entire room around it. It will happily sit alongside pieces you already own, and there are so many colours within the fabric that you can pick up elsewhere in the room.

“Of course, there were practical considerations too. It needed to work beautifully with our brand colours and look rich and vibrant under the workshop lighting while we filmed. Home Park did all of that.

“But truth be told, I just fell for it. And judging by the number of people who’ve spotted the bed in our film and asked us about it, I’m rather pleased I wasn’t the only one.”
