Our headboards are designed to sit on top of the mattress so a pillow stop will remain largely unseen behind the mattress. Ideal if your headboard is to be seen from the side, it fills the gap between the headboard and the bed base. Edged and finished with matching fabric. Covers and hides the traditional mounting struts.

Fixing Method
Plywood Mounting Struts: Traditional strong plywood moulded struts are supplied with all orders unless the Easy fit wall Mounting pack is specified. Full instructions are supplied and it is a simple job to swing the struts into position. Ideal if you want the flexibility to move your bed around with the headboard attached. Wall Mounting Pack The easy fit MDF mounting plate (shown below) will be supplied, located on the back of the headboard for you to remove and fix to the wall. A very neat and smart fitting method, with no gap behind the headboard as all the fixings are inset into the back. Full instructions are supplied and it is a simple 10 minute DIY job. Perfect for larger and taller headboards. Once installed your headboard won’t move. It will be fitted to the wall and will not be attached to the bed in any way. Easy to lift off its mountings for cleaning or to remove covers etc.

Fabric Protector
This water based solution has no smell and will not affect the look or the feel of your fabric. It works brilliantly. Applied by us to your finished products after final inspection. Repels all oil and water based stains from upholstery. Retains dirt on the surface instead of it soaking into the fabric. If you are buying multiple items and would like Fabric Protector to be applied to all items, you need to apply Fabric Protector for each item.

About this product
The Jura is available with 2 centre panel styles; add interest with a neat patchwork design and shallow buttoning, or opt for a plain centre to compliment a patterned fabric and retain focus to the border detailing.
Your choice of a piped or studded border provides a smart, tailored finish to your Jura Headboard.
If you are selecting the Buttoned & Panelled Centre, you are offered a selection of button styles; Self Buttoned, Contrast Buttoned or Swarovski Crystals. Please select ‘No Buttons’ for the Plain Centre Panel.
What is a pillowstop?
Our pillowstop is an additional upholstered section fitted below the headboard. It sits behind your mattress, still allowing your headboard and bed to sit flush to the wall. All visible areas of the pillowstop are upholstered in the same fabric as your headboard.

Please note; As everything is hand made please allow an upholstery tolerance of +/- 1 cm on all dimensions.
Using your own fabric
Providing that your fabric has a useable width of at least 130cm;
For the Self Piped option, just send us 2.9 METRES of fabric for 35ins (89cm) and 3.3 METRES of fabric for 45ins (115cm).
If you have a directional fabric which will need to be joined, we need the meterage stated above + 1 vertical pattern repeat.
If you would like to supply your own fabric for Contrast Piping, you will need to send us an additional 1.3 METRES of material for both heights.
If you are opting to add a Pillowstop to your headboard, please supply an extra 0.7 METRES of fabric.
PLEASE NOTE: Lead time starts from the moment we receive your fabric, trim or any additional components that are required to make your order.

All fabrics must comply with Fire Regulation BS5852 for Cigarette & Match.
There are 3 ways to achieve this:
1. The most cost efficient way to do this is with your fabric supplier, they will ensure that it is accompanied by the necessary certificates.
2. If your fabric has a composition that is 75% or more natural fibre, it may be possible to use a fire retardant interliner. The interliner charge is £79, which you can purchase HERE. We would need proof of the fabric composition when you send it to us.
3. If no certificate is supplied and your material is less than 74% natural fibres, we can arrange fire retardancy treatment for you. The charge for this is £25.00 per metre plus a £30.00 postage and administration fee, and the treatment requires a minimum of 3m of fabric. Fabric treatment usually takes about 10 days and this may extend your delivery date by that amount. This can be arranged with us via email once you have placed your order.

On receipt of your fabric, we will contact you for further instruction if required and then your order will be released into production.
When sending us your material (either from yourself or directly from your supplier), could you kindly;
- Attach your name
- Attach your order reference number, which you will receive via email after placing your order
- Indicate the correct side of the fabric
